By accessing or using convertertool.in (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
ConverterTools provides browser-based utilities — including file conversion, compression, generation and editing tools — free of charge. All processing occurs locally on your device. We may add, modify, or remove tools at any time without notice.
3. Your files and your responsibilities
- You keep all rights to any file you process with the Service. We acquire no ownership, licence, or interest in your content — we never even receive it.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process the files you use, and that your use complies with applicable laws.
- You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, including processing content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates any law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the website or its infrastructure; (b) misrepresent the Service's output as certified or legally authoritative where such certification is required by law; or (c) remove or alter any notices on the site.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that conversions will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Output quality depends on your input files, browser, and device.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConverterTools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the Service. Because processing happens on your device, you should always keep backups of original files before converting.
7. Intellectual property
The site's design, branding and original text are owned by ConverterTools. The Service is built with open-source software (including pdf-lib, jsPDF, PDF.js and others) used under their respective licences; those components remain the property of their authors.
8. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to, or load assets from, third-party sites (fonts, CDNs, form providers). We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or due to factors outside our control.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
