1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar browser technology (localStorage, IndexedDB, caches) that lets a site remember things on your device. This policy covers both.

None of these identify you personally, and none are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. What we do NOT use
- No advertising or marketing cookies
- No analytics or tracking cookies
- No social-media tracking pixels
- No third-party data brokers or fingerprinting
That's also why you'll never see a cookie-consent banner here: under laws like the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive, strictly essential storage does not require consent.
4. Third-party technologies
Fonts and open-source libraries load from Google Fonts and public CDNs. These providers may set their own cookies or log standard request data (such as IP address) under their own policies, which we do not control. Our contact form provider (if you message us) may also use functional cookies.
5. How to control or delete local storage
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites → search "convertertool.in" → remove.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → remove convertertool.in.
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → remove convertertool.in.
Note: clearing this data resets your theme preference and requires the AI model to re-download on next use. It does not affect your files, which were never stored by us.
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever add new storage technologies (for example, privacy-respecting analytics), we will update this page and, where consent is legally required, ask for it clearly before enabling them.
